There are 14 x 430W panels on this installation giving an impressive 6kW max output, this system produces more energy than the home owner can use, so most of the energy is exported under the SEG (Smart Export Guarantee) and they use that money to cover the Gas Bill! The 10kWh battery we installed, covers their electricity needs when the sun can’t. The battery is slightly oversized for this particular customer but they wanted to have back up power, in the event of a power cut their boiler, lights and some sockets will continue to work.
